This is a developer version, which will be finalized before being officially released for Android devices.
Recently, Google released a trial version of Android operating system P 9.0, showing us the first look at this update.
Interface has a lot of changes. Through this update, users can see that Google is making things more rounded and more colorful.
More user friendly notification interface
On this updated version, the clock icon has been moved from the top right to the upper left of the notification bar. Google also optimally optimizes the rabbit ears in the center by placing display messages next to the clock icon.
The notification bar can display up to 4 icons, and if you have more notifications, we will have a display dot.
The menu settings are more colorful
Google constantly changes its look in the settings through software updates. This year is no exception when all the gray icons on the Oreo version have disappeared, instead the icons have been made in more than a lot of brilliant colors, and look quite similar to how of Samsung.
More shortcuts on the toolbar
This is one of the most distinguishing features of the change on Android version 9.0 this time. All shortcuts are rounded, when turned on will be green and when off will return to gray. The horizontal bar contains shortcuts that are also wider than white.
The dock is highlighted
The bottom dock on the Android P, which contains the apps you use most often with the Google search bar, is now enhanced with a transparent background below. Also, on the right of the search bar there will be more micro icons so that users can easily search by voice.
Added screen capture function when holding down the power button
On the new version, users holding down the power button will display options including power off, reboot, and a new feature called screen capture. Thus, we were able to easily capture screenshots on this new version.
The volume bar is shifted to the right
Google seems to like changing the position of the toolbars in this version of Android P. The volume control previously located in the horizontal position is now moved to the right of the screen. And we can also easily switch between silent mode, ring tone, mute.
Use Pixel fonts
It is unclear whether this is intentional or simply because this is the first trial version so the operating system is using the fonts of the Pixel device. However, most likely it will be selected as the official font version of Android operating system P 9.0.
Currently, Google has released a trial version of Android operating system P9.0 for developers on Nexus 5X devices, Nexus 6P and some Pixel products.
