A recent document disclosed that Samsung will integrate the fingerprints below the screen on the Samsung Galaxy S10.
A newly leaked patent reveals that Samsung will integrate a fingerprint sensor under the phone’s screen. This could be the kind of optical fingerprint sensor Synaptics has developed before.
This will allow the new device to have an overflow screen with a larger display area.
Accordingly, the navigation keys at the bottom of the screen such as Back and multitasking keys are automatically hidden when not in use, and the user just swipe from the bottom to make them appear again.
However, according to leaked information, it is unlikely Samsung will be able to integrate this new technology into the upcoming Galaxy Note 9, which instead will use the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the machine.
Hopefully, users will soon see this technology on the Galaxy S10 along with a whole new design.
