Even more likely the iPad will be equipped with this feature, after Apple has resolved the difficulties in supplying Face ID components.
According to Phone Arena , Apple has successfully solved the shortage of module supply, and will feature facial identification Face ID on the iPhone X on all of its iPhone lineup in 2018. Expected iPhone versions are expected. This feature is iPhone Xs, Xs Plus and iPhone 9, although this model may use the LCD screen.
Apple will hand over to LG Innotek and a Chinese company, in place of Sharp, responsible for producing the TrueDepth camera. This is not the first time such information appears, even more likely iPad will own this feature.
Independent research firm Aterthon Research also claims that Apple is trying to shrink the Face ID module, especially the TrueDepth camera. The prototype is already in the lab but for mass production it may take some time.
Aterthon also said that Apple will integrate fingerprint recognition alongside Face ID. However, this feature integration will not be available until 2019.
